about the workshop:
In this class, you'll be lead through a suminagashi demo, have a chance to follow along if you'd like, and there will be ample time for problem solving and questions. we’ll review history, tips and tricks for setting up your suminagashi station at home and you’ll be guided through the suminagashi process. there will be ample time for questions and reflections.
MATERIALS:
+ A clear glass vessel (baking dish) or marbling tray
+ Suminagashi inks (this is the kit we use in class // purchase locally if available!)
+ Brushes
+ Dish soap
+ Paper (watercolor paper, cardstock, copy paper, etc)
+ Drying station: old towels, string and binder clips
