Learn the creative and meditative process of Suminagashi marbling and create marbled designs on paper and wood! Characterized by delicate tendrils of colorful inks and swirling patterns floated on the surface of a bath of water.

In this workshop, you’ll explore the meditative process of creating your own marbled designs on paper and wood. You’ll learn a short history of the process, be led through a demonstration, and then flow with ink, paper, water, and breath, as you create a collection of marbled papers and 1-2 wooden pieces like boxes, picture frames, etc. All materials provided
