A book can be a meaningful space for ideas, dreams, and reflections.
about this workshop:
Deepen your bookbinding practice and create a small hardcover, cloth bound, coptic stitched book that lays flat when opened, perfect to use as a photo album, sketchbook, or guestbook.
Expand your understanding of the bookbinding process, explore multiple signature binding, and walk away with a carefully crafted container for your memories and dreams. Explore this decorative stitch and find flow in the bookbinding process.
If you’ve taken a bookbinding class before, this class is for you. All materials for creating the book will be provided (paper, cloth, glue, thread). If you've taken a bookbinding class before, bring your awl + bone folder. (We’ll have extras for you to borrow). Have a marbled or decorative paper you’d like to use? Bring it along.
(you’ll be taken to the brainery’s website to sign up)
