Learn the creative and meditative process of suminagashi paper marbling, characterized by delicate tendrils of colorful inks and swirling patterns floated on the surface of a bath of water.

In this class, you’ll explore the meditative process of creating your own marbled papers. You’ll learn a short history of the process, be led through a demonstration, and then flow with ink, paper, water, and breath, as you create a collection of marbled papers.
