Learn the creative and meditative process of suminagashi marbling at Wolf Point Distilling in Chicago, IL. Characterized by delicate tendrils of colorful inks and swirling patterns floated on the surface of a bath of water, in this class, you’ll explore the meditative process of suminagashi, creating your own marbled designs on paper and a silk bandana. You’ll learn a short history of the process, be led through a demonstration, and then flow with ink, paper, water, and breath, as you create a collection of marbled papers. Your ticket includes all materials plus your first drink from the Wolf Point Distilling bar. No experience necessary, this workshop is great for anyone looking for a creative evening.
