Learn the creative and meditative process of Suminagashi marbling and create marbled designs on paper at Pilot Project Brewing at Logan Square in Chicago! Characterized by delicate tendrils of colorful inks and swirling patterns floated on the surface of a bath of water., you’ll explore the meditative process of Suminagashi (“floating ink”) and create your own marbled designs on paper.

You’ll learn a short history of the process, be led through a demonstration, and then flow with ink, paper, water, and breath, as you create a collection of marbled papers. All materials provided
