In this inspiring workshop, you’ll float delicate tendrils of colorful inks on the surface of water. and explore the meditative process of Suminagashi (“floating ink”) as create your own marbled designs on leather, silk, and paper. In this artful experience, you’ll learn a short history of the Suminagashi, be led through a demonstration, then spend the rest of your time flowing with ink, paper, water, and breath, as you create a marbled silk bandana or leather coasters/keychains and a collection of marbled papers.
